The Fantalis team and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives have jointly carried out extensive work, during which they systematized all foreign and Russian experience, knowledge, and approaches within the existing regulatory framework, while relying on the principles of sustainable design, construction, and operation of ecotourism infrastructure facilities, which is based on maintaining a balance between human needs and the capabilities of the surrounding natural and cultural environment.
As a result of systematic work, we have developed a unified collection and are ready to present to you the "Guide to Designing Infrastructure Facilities in Specially Protected Natural Areas."

The facilities contained in the guide are just the beginning. Over time, more new forms and facilities may emerge. The created catalog is a base that will be expanded and updated to provide more ready-made solutions for our SPNAs.

This guide is a step-by-step instruction for organizing infrastructure in SPNAs. It will help you find answers to the main problematic issues:

  • How to understand what to build?
  • What should the infrastructure facilities we build be like?
  • How to apply the concept of sustainable development to the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure facilities?
  • What is the cost of capital expenditures for infrastructure facilities?

The guide defines the main approaches to the design and construction of infrastructure facilities in SPNAs, including those considering sustainable development principles, as well as basic and commercial infrastructure facilities:

  • Detailed descriptions of types, kinds, and characteristics;
  • Plan diagrams;
  • Materials used, structural and engineering features;

In conclusion, each user will be able to familiarize themselves with the "Methodology for Calculating Capital Expenditures" and the "Methodology for Calculating a Preliminary Financial Model" for organizing infrastructure facilities in Specially Protected Natural Areas.

The guide will soon be available for download on the website https://asi.ru/ after registration.
