On October 17, as part of the business program of the 25th All-Russian Hospitality Summit PIR EXPO 2022, Roman Fantalis, founder of Fantalis group and Enjoy, appeared as an invited expert and spoke about the main myths associated with organizing a glamping site.

In his presentation, Roman covered in detail the issues of building a business model, choosing and properly organizing the territory for a glamping site.

He also shared his experience in managing tourist facilities, including those in specially protected natural areas.

"The global idea of FANTALIS Group is the development of ecotourism in our country," says Roman Fantalis. "One of the most accessible options is the creation of glampings and eco-hotels. Prefabricated structures attract many novice businessmen. But a superficial approach and dreams of 'beautiful pictures' and 'easy money' usually crash against the harsh realities of economics.
Creators of tourist bases need to remember that a glamping site somewhat resembles an authentic tent, but inside it must meet all the requirements of hotel service. They need to be more attentive to the organization and furnishing of the room stock. Besides this, glamping is also an 'experience economy,' so it's important to think through not just the territory but also the activities with which you will engage your guests during the low season."

After the presentation, Roman answered questions from the audience and noted that events like PIR EXPO help develop the hospitality industry and serve as an excellent platform for live communication, exchange of ideas, and experience.
