MISHKA Terrace is the third restaurant to open at the Laguna SPA Hotel, and it fits seamlessly into the design concept of the property’s broader infrastructure. What unites these spaces is a commitment to sustainability, a palette of natural, understated materials used throughout both structural and finish elements, and a carefully calibrated balance of function and comfort.

The new restaurant’s intimate 40-seat layout is divided into several distinct dining areas, furnished with substantial wooden tables, plush sofas, and cozy armchairs. The dark oak of the tabletops and bar counter stands in warm contrast to the amber-honey tones of the plywood—finished with oil to create a subtle satin sheen. These plywood elements harmonize effortlessly with the other materials: textured plaster, graphite-hued cast stone flooring, and the glazed tilework of the kitchen zone.

From every seat, panoramic windows frame views of the forest—so immediate it seems to enter the room. This sense of immersion is heightened by the interplay of light, reflection, and shadow across vertical fluted-glass panels set at varying angles. On one level, they define the space and offer guests a degree of privacy; on another, they echo the black-and-white trunks of the ancient birches just outside. The effect is a quiet dissolution of the boundary between interior and landscape—a threshold crossed as guests settle in to feel, fully and finally, that they have arrived somewhere apart.

Because that, after all, is why people travel thousands of miles from home to the edge of the earth.

In summer, guests can take their meal on the terrace adjoining the main building, overlooking the lake. Here, restaurant service moves outdoors, offering Kamchatka’s wild beauty as the main course.
