Based on the results of the second stage of voting and expert selection, the architectural concept of the "National Museum of Nature Conservation in Kamchatka," developed by the FANTALIS team, won in the nomination "Best Architectural Museum Project."
Currently, FANTALIS is the operator of tourism projects for the investment fund REAM Management, which specializes in investments in "green technologies," and develops facilities in the most striking and picturesque locations in Kamchatka.
"Recognition of the project and such a high appraisal by members of the international jury is truly a landmark event for the entire Kamchatka region," says Roman Fantalis, head of the company. "The FANTALIS team has succeeded in creating a global project for the development of the city's central square—the cultural and political center of the capital of Kamchatka Krai."
The project includes areas intended for exhibition spaces of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's museums, spaces for coworking and public events. Within the walls of this modern exhibition space, departments from various communities working to study, preserve, and promote the region's natural and cultural heritage will be brought together.
Exhibition spaces and scientific laboratories are allocated for Specially Protected Natural Territories, and modern platforms for training volunteers, inspectors, and conservationists are organized. The museum houses the world-famous Scientific Museum of Volcanology.
The jury members of the international Golden Trezzini Award also duly appreciated the museum's architecture, which is harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape of the city center.
It should be noted that the international Golden Trezzini Architecture Award is one of the main events in the fields of construction, architecture, design, and engineering.
