Architectural Bureaus Open Doors for Future Professionals

Spring is the time when Moscow architectural bureaus announce the acceptance of applications for summer internships for senior students of specialized universities and young professionals. Why do well-known organizations need this? Tatyana Guk, Head of the State Autonomous Institution "Institute of the General Plan of Moscow," explains the purpose of the internship as follows: "For us, it's a kind of win-win investment in the future. That's why our projects are aimed not only at urban development but also at nurturing a new generation that will continue the big things started today, both in 10 and 30 years."

"In our bureau, interns have the opportunity to participate in project development. As a rule, this involves working on the concept of our future tourist facilities. They are given a technical assignment, which they then study, research, and ultimately propose their own options for future spatial planning and conceptual solutions for tourist complexes," says Anna Kulikova, Partner at FANTALIS Architects.
